Ben Walters, the man behind OSPOP. Brings back the old workmen's shoes with a new flavor. Still paying tribute for everything it stands for (hard working, blue collar, migrant workers) who wake up at 5 a.m. everyday and labour until midnight to build and rebuild the fastest changing country in the world.
These shoes brings back memories of old China, when these sneakers were considered fashionable and cool. It was a privilege to be able to wear these back in my parents teenage years. I actually feel proud to see these sneakers making a comeback in China, and making a well deserved break in the west.
This print screen image is designed by Nini, a well known artist in Shanghai, her artwork was selected to be printed on T-Shirts that OSPOP.& Compassion for Migrant Children have created to support the poor migrant children in education and healthcare. 100% of the proceeds went to this organization tonight.
