IHOP in Kansas City

I can cross Kansas off my map now! This little city is definitely not what I expected...though, I am not sure what I expected to be honest.. But I do love the city in a small town feel. The purpose of visiting Kansas was for IHOP (no, not the pancakes house) but the international house of prayer hosted by IHOP church. I was blown away, by the size (30,000 people attended!), the production, and most of all, how on fire these teenagers are for God. Besides the amazing experience at the conference, a little part of me actually fell for this place, I might even dare to say that I can see myself visiting this place again. I love the lights that come on in the evening, the mixture of modern and european architecture, and most of all, the quietness of this place. One of the photos below will demonstrate exactly how empty this place can be... mind you, we were walking around at noon, and there were hardly anybody in sight! Oh and I just love how they have a exit sign on the freeway that says Food Exit. I found it absolutely hilarious!
