Probably one of the bestest meals in Kansas, how ironic that in the land of BBQ, my friend yelped the perfect little mexican market / restaurant? On my plate: refried beans, tamales, and pork in green salsa (yum and yum). Later in the evening, we had to find a place to use wifi (our host did not have internet at her house- this requires some serious control!), and since the conference usually ends around 10:30pm, everything ends up being closed. Thanks to Yelp again, we were able to find Hamburger Mary's. It's a flamboyant burger joint where we were welcomed in by a drag queen..never a dull moment in Kansas, seriously! The night finally ended with us getting on the wrong bus (thanks to me) and ended up walking home, THANK you GPS for directing us towards the right direction, and thanks to my girlfriend for reading the map correctly! Let's just say that we had a very interesting time trying to find internet between the odd hours we had breaks from the conference and trying to find a place and the time to nap. I loved every minute of our exploration, but I definitely miss the free wifi services in Shanghai and the fact that there is always something open until 6am.
